Description
Class begins with a warm up to prepare for this physically demanding art. You will to learn how to mount, hang and balance on aerial hoop. We work in a progressive way building your confidence and leading ultimately to freedom of movement. Training concludes with a cool-down. This workshop focuses on:

Bring a drink, notebook and camera to record what you learn
Stay safe
Aerial circus is very FUN and also dangerous (partly why it is fun). Listen and follow instructions from the teacher - be responsive and take responsibility for your own and everyone else’s safety
The teacher uses hands-on spotting technique to assist you execute the skills being taught and ensure safety. If touching is not suitable for you for any reason, please advise the teacher before the start of class
Clothing
Tight clothes that offer maximum flexibility are best. You should have coverage below the knees and wear socks. Bring a close-fitting long-sleeved top with you, even in hot weather. No jewellery

ABOUT THE TEACHER
With a background in Aerial disciplines and Yoga, Gaby instructs, performs and facilitates circus training for the community. She completed the Nimble Arts Foundation Teacher Training, and continues to work through further training modules. Gaby is also a qualified Yoga Instructor
